kgelfen360 wroteI refer folks to the dealers that have given me better pricing than others have, they are definitely not offering the "standard" rate. You don't have to take mine, or anyone else's, word for it. Just get some quotes from those mentioned and some others and make your decision. Pricing and discounts can change over time, you need to do some legwork to get the best pricing. My question is: how do I even know these people always referred to in this forum (Christine and Daniel Kim) even offering a "deep discount". I think they offering standard rate and this forum just constantly promoting them.

Shllshck wroteAs was pointed out, the 45e battery warranty is already 8yr/80000. My quote was 50% more than someone who got a quote from the same recommended dealer a few months ago. Have the extended warranties gone up 50% of the last few months?Derwin, pricing is also based on model. You mentioned you took delivery of a 45e. The plans will likely be higher than the plans offered on a regular X5.
The 45e does have air-suspension and probably a few other features the non-PHEV X5's have but the elevated pricing still feels too much.
I'll quote from a few others to compare.
derwin424 wroteAs mentioned numerous times, we are discussing Platinum. What dealer gave you $3850? Was this Platinum or Gold?
mjkasper wroteHave not gone up from my quotes. I got one the other week and it was $100 lower than my lowest from April. As was pointed out, the 45e battery warranty is already 8yr/80000. 7/75 Platinum $0 deductible $4800, $250 deductible $4450
7/75 Gold $0 deductible $4150, $250 deductible $3900
Would love to know where you got the $3850 and the exact terms. Was it Plat or Gold, what deductible. Also, What are thoughts on Gold versus Platinum? Does anyone have experience, good or bad with third party providers: Endurance, Millenium, etc?
derwin424 wroteThose prices are high, if you are getting those from the above then the prices must have been increased in the last week. As mentioned, we are always talking about Platinum with $0 deductible. I wouldn't get any but if you are getting one then get the Platinum. So far seen the following for 2023 x5 45e
7/75 Platinum $0 deductible $4800, $250 deductible $4450
7/75 Gold $ deductible $4150, $250 deductible $3900

On Sept. 17th. I was quoted the following and the 84m/100 is less than what you are being quoted:
TurtleBoy wroteSo I was quoted more then this (specifically $5050 for 84/100) which is why earlier I raised the question of quotes and so called discounts on this forum? Got to look around and just get different quotes.
kgelfen360 wroteEarlier this year I got a quote of $5,150 for that and it was one of the lowest. derwin424 wroteAbsolutely. Text Ben tomorrow 925-338-7118.Turtleboy and Epicaccord, can you be specific about which dealers provided the quotes? I am unable to PM.
derwin424 wroteSpoon-fed much?Turtleboy and Epicaccord, can you be specific about which dealers provided the quotes? I am unable to PM.
The person replied and provided some new information.Be careful with epicaccord. He is either the poster child for the arrogant, pushy finance manager or some type of scammer. I stopped pursuing pricing with him due to the tone of his PM's.
epicaccord wroteLying does not get you anywhere. Now everyone will see the conversation and they can make their own decision. I'm not hurt at all just surprised at the dishonesty and arrogance that you are showing in a public forum when you are supposedly associated with a dealership.Be careful of Turtleboy. He's whiny and just nosy. 🥲. He PMd me wanting me to find him quotes with no intention of buying at all. He said "so I can recommend you because I'm respected around here" LOL. Suprised you're feelings are hurt for PMs over a month ago, because I chose not to continue conversating with you because you just want to waste people's time.
I can't give you what you don't want to buy?
This PM thread was from 9/15/22:
8:23am TurtleBoy: Hi Ben,
I couldn't find your email on the BMW Concord web site so figured I would just send a PM. When you have a chance, can you get me pricing for a BMW Platinum warranty for my X5? I'm looking at 84m/75k and 84m/100k. I currently have 49k miles and my VIN is xxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Thanks,
Lou
I received a message that my inbox was full so I deleted some message and sent another PM.
8:42am Turtleboy: Sorry about that, didn't realize my inbox was full. Also I need to correct myself, - an Extended Service Contract. I always correct people and here I go and say it. lol
8:46am epicaccord: It's just easier to say warranty because everyone knows what you mean even though they aren't the same lol. You definitely need one on X5 as that SUV is a beast! Easily 5 figure repairs. What's your phone number so I can help you?
8:50am Turtleboy: I never recommend getting one as there rarely pay to do so. The only value in them is a feeling of safety in my opinion. I was just curious on the pricing compared to others I have.
9:07am epicaccord: I always use this analogy. Are you pissed off you didn't get into a head on collision so you're auto insurance can pay out? Lol. Peace of mind in case you need it.
Service Contracts are always worth it on BMWs. Question really is, how much are you willing to pay for it? That's where I come in.
Forgive me, I don't satisfy curiosity. Get your best lowest pricing from the forums(Christine from steve thomas BMW etc) and BMW dealerships then when you're ready to buy give me a call and I'll save the day and beat everyones price. We all sell the same thing, but no one can go low as me because they still need to make money. I don't mind marking up wholesale as I get $100 no matter what I sell it for plus it takes me 15 minutes to prepare the Docusign. So its a fair tradeoff for my time. Everyone else has to mark up the true cost because they are looking to get paid.
You win(lowest price you'll ever get it for) and I win($100).
So let me know when you're really ready to buy and have all your legit quotes. Glad to help.
9:13am Turtleboy: Ok, your loss not mine. While I don't recommend to buy them I recommend dealers to buy them from. Thought maybe you could be at the top of the list but what your attitude that surely isn't going to happen.
9:28am epicaccord: You're not a buyer. I been doing this a loooong time and I know a buyer and just a tire kicker. If you were a buyer and wanted the absolute best deal you would have said "yes Ben, I'll go do my homework and get the lowest deal I can find so you can beat it by a lot" like everyone else does that asks me for a quote. And you would have called me right away. You just were nosy basically lol
It's actually your "loss" because I'll still be fine not selling it to you since I only make $100 anyways.. (I made $$$$$$$ last year and its not from forum sales, I can tell you that. )
buuuut.. if you decide to buy one it wouldn't be the for best lowest price you could have really got it for. AND If you don't buy one and get a repair then you definitely "lost" as X5 repairs range from $5000-$55000
epicaccord wroteLOL - wow, what a total lack of self-awareness. You might as well just move on, no one but a total fool would contact you to buy anything after seeing these posts. All facts.
I say "Let me know when your ready to buy with your quotes and I'll help refer you"
Then you say arrogantly " your loss not mine" you started the hostility brotha, so any person can see why someone would respond that way.
Enjoy your weekend Mr forum police officer Turtleboy. Ten hut!
I pray you find what you're looking for and be successful in all your accomplishments.

If you weren't so self-absorbed you would have responded like every other finance manager I contacted, something along the lines of "Thank you for contacting me, here is your pricing and let me know if you need anything else."
Feel free to come back at me if you wish but just like with our PM thread, there will be no use in me responding to you.

CADK wroteHi CDK, So great to see “ but I'm able to offer BMW extended coverages at very near dealer cost. They make a whole lot more sense at those prices.”! Please help and quote me for a 7 yrs/100k platinum on my 2021 X5 45e with only 13k miles/35 months (thanks to the pandemic)Not exactly true. The price increases significantly when the odometer crosses 20k.
And I'll agree that there is a lot less value in extending coverage at BMW's suggested retail prices, but I'm able to offer BMW extended coverages at very near dealer cost. They make a whole lot more sense at those prices.
