It's being phased out just like the 8 Series.Well we can only hope, I’ve currently got a 4 GC and love it and don’t want it to go nor any Coupe/ GC/ Saloon vehicles like other companies are doing.
I only voice concern as all the other BMW models with no news of a replacement have either only just been replaced/ or they’re clearly due for the chopping block and we’ve been hearing for a while now that there is no new vehicle in development at BMW to replace the 4 Series

It's hard do describe the happiness that BMW still has it!
There is literally nothing to complain about that exterior. The lines flow beautifully and those kidneys, how can anybody complain?!
We finally see something to take on Merc S-class coupe (even though it's discontinued for now).
If Alpina is going to be the step between the standard lineup and RR then I would suggest they start tweaking that interior a bit, to be somehow more analog. Slamming on screens and scrapping the wood panels is not going to age well. I'd rather see them taking some notes of Bentley continental GT interior, that thing doesn't age!

tsbrown wroteI was so hopeful that the Neue Klasse facade design language would carry to this in appearance but they went with the X7... almost if you wanted a coupe to park with your X7 in the garage... the rest is stunning but saddened they keep doubling down on a bridge between Rolls and BMW ( I gamble Alpina will exist right there in product placement )Sorry, but that front end is f*kg hideous. Are you telling me that is supposed to compete with Bentley, Aston and similar? Not a chance. The Bovensiepens sold up at the right time.
A_ wroteBelieve it or not- the rich had kids who fit in the seats well.Just as I suspected, it’s a 7 Series Coupe, so it’s a very large car. It’s bigger than the 4 Series and the 8 Series. But at the same time, it’s pointless, because who would want to sit in the back when it’s hard to get in since there are no rear doors? If this is supposed to be luxury combined with comfort, I don’t see any comfort in it.
For years I had a 997 gen 911 that was a joy to have because my kids could drive with me. But as they got bigger it was less practical.
There is a use case for the backseat. Even if the car is 250,000.
