Very easy to install… just remove the 4 rubber caps, unscrew the 4 torx screws, close trunk, pull back on the oem spoiler, swap clips and install in the reverse order.

Wtfitzvi wroteI bought Wtfitzvi's☝🏼spoiler (above) and can confirm that it's about a 20 minute job - remove 4 plugs, 4 torx screws, swap over 4 "female" square grommet-tabs and two "male" plugs.. and reattach.If anyone is looking I have an oem x5m spoiler for sale. It's painted mineral white. No longer needed since I trade the car in.

If done correctly, it will fit together properly.Yes you do have to trim down about half an inch on those two tabs otherwise it will raise a gap between the 3rd brake light and edge of spoiler. I just did mine today
Or else you may be dealing with a squeak/rattle.
