bmwsone02 wroteHere's a Youtube video with instructions. I plan to install mine this evening. Ill let you know how it goes. That black actually looks good. And thanks for the message.
How hard was it to put on? Not too many post here on how to put it on and the instructions are in Japanese.
Sevn86 wroteSounds good! Thanks and just realized it’s for pulling it off. Can’t wait to see the results. Seems simple. Here's a Youtube video with instructions. I plan to install mine this evening. Ill let you know how it goes.
bmwsone02 wroteI was pretty frustrated. lol No, this wasn’t ordered through IND but it is an OEM X5M spoiler I ordered off a local BMW dealerships website. Honestly had everything gone according to plan this install should’ve been no more than 15-20mins start to finish.Oh no. That seems frustrating when it was so easy to pull off. Is that the IND version (sorry if I missed it)?
MADBMWX5MC wroteThank you! It’s there but very thin. You could stick down some foam or something if you want but I don’t feel it’s needed.Even that small gap went away, huh? Well done.
Amazing how that roof spoiler totally changes the rear end of the X5. Its a must do mod IMO.
Alan l. wroteOh that’s good to know. Thanks for confirming!I have the same gap on my X5M so i think its normal.

100% it’s a must!
Sevn86 wroteGreat job! What is that clip for that you cut off?Got it all figured out. Once I got the center clip cut off it fit perfectly. No flex or rattles. I know my X5 needs a bath but we have rain in the forecast and with my luck it will rain 100% if I wash it.
bmwsone02 wroteIt’s another latching point but I don’t really think it’s needed as the spoiler is on tight with no flex. For the X5M spoiler that clip and area are raised compared to the one that’s on the original non X5M spoiler so it sticks up as it doesn’t sit right unless you cut it off. There are other clips and pins along with the 4 T25 screws that hold the spoiler down so it’s not going anywhere.Great job! What is that clip for that you cut off?

JoshM wroteCan you post a pic of that installed? Maybe using a heat gun to warm up the decal before trying to peel it off?I have the M Performance flow through spoiler installed but, I would like to remove the M Performance Decal, anyone knows how can I do that? is there a DYI video or guidance to remove the decal from the spoiler?
JoshM wroteIf that’s vinyl sticker, should be easy to remove with patience and tiny amount of goof off (unless clear coat is over it).Attached
bmwsone02 wroteIt is clear coated which is why I went for the other spoiler. It needs to be sanded through, decals removed or filled over, primed, and painted. If that’s vinyl sticker, should be easy to remove with patience and tiny amount of goof off (unless clear coat is over it).
JoshM wrotethe M Performance flow-through spoiler is a finished product, so that label was applied prior to clear coat application. either need to have the whole thing re-painted and finished or just that area. any reputable paint shop can do the jobI have the M Performance flow through spoiler installed but, I would like to remove the M Performance Decal, anyone knows how can I do that? is there a DYI video or guidance to remove the decal from the spoiler?
All 4 of this circled protruded area was raising it up and made it harder to install. I could see that these 4 protrusions were raising the spoiler up through the gap. Try to shave down those areas so it becomes flush then it will fit much more.

Can you provide me where you purchased gloss black diffuser please ?
