mobsync wroteI havent done this myself as of yet.. still on my todo list.I can't get my old spoiler to come off. I removed all of the screws underneath and just can't get the thing to budge. I am standing directly behind the car with the rear door closed. With my fingers in the crack between the spoiler and the roof I have tried pulling very hard but nothing budges.
Any suggestions?
chefwong wroteOk. I'll give that a try tonight.Pull Harder.....it feels like something will break but it won't. It's just tight...
Post #18. See those 2 plastic tabs in the circle. If I'm going off memory, this is part that is where the resistence is.....
Once it starts moving, the entire thing moves freely
mobsync wroteOh that thing will hold on for dear life. You just need to pull it back real firmly. Mine made a loud snap noise when it released and I thought sure something broke or cracked. But it was fine.I can't get my old spoiler to come off. I removed all of the screws underneath and just can't get the thing to budge. I am standing directly behind the car with the rear door closed. jBwFellow wroteThanks for the help! Wasn't a perfect fit as others have stated but I can live with it. Love the look of my X5 45e now with it installed. I think it compliments the aggressive sporty look I was after well.Trying to follow your directions:
1) remove 4 rubber caps - yes, the 4 upper ones, not the 2 lower/outer ones for the gloss black side supports.
2) unscrew 4 torx screws - yes.
3) pull back on oem spolier - pull how? Beyond flexing it won't budge for me when prying with plastic pry tools. I don't see a way to put it back without using some tools...
Thanks!

navamauricio wroteDoes the F15XM spoiler fit the new 50e LCI ?https://ind-distribution.com/collections/x5-g05/products/bmw-f95-x5m-roof-spoiler-g05-x5-retrofit
Here's the IND version.
The bmwpartspros.com others have posted is probably sold out and they took it off their website.
dieter09 wroteI don't think the F15 spoiler will fit the 50e, but the F95 will. Here's a better video of how to take the spoiler off our G05's:Does the F15XM spoiler fit the new 50e LCI ?
So I can just order part nr 51628083919 with my local BMW dealer?
And is this the way to remove the spoiler?:
